SHIPPING, RETURNS & REFUNDS


SHIPPING 

We approach every order with care and intention, please review our shipping and returns policy below to understand how we handle fulfillment, delivery, and support.

To help protect your cacao during transit and avoid packages sitting at the post office over the weekend, we ship orders on Tuesdays only.

​

  • Shipping days:  Tuesday

  • Shipping cutoff: 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST (U.S. orders)

  • Orders placed after the cutoff will ship on the next available shipping day

  • We do not ship on weekends or holidays

​

We ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS. Estimated delivery is 1–3 business days after shipment.

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Bhavana Cacao cannot guarantee delivery dates and is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Bhavana is not responsible for the condition of the cacao after it has left our facility, including any melting of cacao that may be caused in delay of shipping. Melted cacao remains safe and usable, and its nutritional and energetic properties are not affected. Once products leave our care, we’re unable to verify handling or storage conditions, which is why we cannot accept returns even if items are unopened.

Once you place your order, you will receive:

  • An order confirmation email once your purchase is complete

  • A shipping confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships

​

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout and ensure someone is available to receive the package if needed. We are not responsible for packages delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

​

We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses. Shipping charges are non-refundable.​

RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Due to the nature of cacao and in accordance with U.S. food safety standards, all food products are final sale and not eligible for return once shipped.

​

Refunds are not offered for Bhavana food products once shipped, including melted cacao. 

​

If something doesn’t arrive as it should, we want to support you. Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if an item is damaged, defective, or missing.​ Include photos of both the product and packaging so we can assess the situation. When appropriate, we may offer a replacement or store credit. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion.
